NFL Bans Cheerleaders From Flaunting It in Front of Visiting Players
Posted Sep 23rd 2007 12:19PM by Michael David Smith
Filed under: NFL Gossip, NFL Rumors, Featured Stories, The Word

CBS NFL analyst Charlie Casserly reported on today's pregame show that the NFL sent a memo to all 32 teams last week informing them that home teams are not permitted to tell their cheerleaders to warm up, stretch, or otherwise do anything in front of the visiting team's bench that might distract the players before the game.
    Oh, for God's sake, NFL.
Why not worry about teams potentially being screwed by the inequality of camera coverage at the games (Fox had 7 cameras at Vikes-KC and 12 at Washington/NY Giants) rather than whether or not Tom Brady saw a little bush before the games?
Hell, I bet the players are more upset by this decision that anyone else.
I keep thinking about the cheerleaders in "The Replacements".
Somehow, I doubt the Vikings' cheerleaders are smacking each other on the ass in front of the visitor's bench before the game starts.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

...But a way to click on buttons to watch them dance or see a 360 degree view of each of them. You can find these new features in the cheerleader bios. For example, here's the link to the page for the Texans twins, Larisa and Marisa.

It doesn't do anything for me personally, and in some ways the 360 degree view is kinda creepy...

Re: NFL Bans Cheerleaders from flaunting it in front of visiting players.

It works. at the state track meet a neighboring town broke out their secret weapon of two gorgeous girls to distract the opposing team. One of which came to talk to me several times between throws, it turns out she's rooming with a friend of mine at college and she wanted to know a bit about her.

I still think it was to distract me for bumping one of their teammates out of the discus finals at the previous meet so he did not qualify for the state meet.... illegally, but that's a story by itself.
