NFC North Dream Team

Discussing the top 10 players in the NFC North made me think of something. What's your NFC North Dream Team? With the other thread being so popular, I thought I'd give this a shot.

As for some of the choices.

SS is a very weak position in the NFC North, it seems. Especially with the release of both Sharper and Brown.

RT is pretty weak aswell. With both Tait and Tauscher not resigned and Cherilus really having shown nothing on the right side of the Lions offensive line, I had to go with the only possibility.

At CB I took Al Harris over Winfield. I think it's nearly a tie there though.

At MLB I took the up and coming star in Henderson instead of the declining star in Urlacher. Barnett was pretty far up there aswell, though.

Not bad molder.
I would make a couple of changes though mostly because of anticipated play this year vice what players have done in the past.....

Madieu Williams instead of Nick Collins
Winfield for Woodson

I will leave Harris there but after this year I bet Ole Griff will be classified as a better player than Harris is at that point in thier careers.
Again, not taking anything from past performances.

I would also toy with injecting Cutler in the roster over Rodgers if for no other reason than I like him and CJ hooking up deep over Rodgers and CJ.

In the long run, not a bad effort and a great idea for a thread my friend.

Like I said, it's a horrible position through-out the division atm. No Tauscher, no Tait, Cherilus hasn't shown his 1st round potential. It really leaves just one reasonable RT. I could slide a LT to RT ofcourse, but didn't think of that.

As to Marrdo's comments. I would've substituted Winfield for Harris and leave Woodson in the line-up in that case. The way he was all over receivers without any pass rush was impressive, to say the least.

OLB's actually a tough one in this division.
There are quite a few decent guys there.
Could even make an argument for Ernie Simms.
