NFC minicamp reports: Breakout players
The team hopes that wide receiver Aundrae Allison provides a pleasant surprise in his second season. Allison was a good fifth-round value pick in the 2007 draft, and he showed at the end of last season that he had a knack for making plays and running in the open field.
Although the team's receiving corps is more crowded this season, Allison has been working hard on two areas: Refining his short route-running and ball security. There were times in '07 when Allison carried the ball too far away from his body, creating turnovers or near-turnovers.
If the Vikings' coaching staff doesn't trust him to secure the ball, Allison won't play much. But if he can protect the ball and be precise in his short routes, Allison will be a surprise contributor in '08.

More walking wounded (walking healed) that the Bores will be relying on.
Brown is coming back for one final chance and is penciled in as the starter at free safety after going down with a torn ACL.............McGowan has durability issues of his own and must prove he can stay on the field
Man I just don't seem to be worried about thier vaunted Defense as some are.
I am sure B-wade, Fergy and BB are out there helping him with that.

Sure hope the coaches keep the coffee coming though.
Vet, Mentor all in one sentence.
Instead of pouting, he entered this year even more determined. He sought out veteran receiver David Patten to be his workout mentor.
Whats the world coming to?
I am sure they noticed this as they brought the coffee out.
Saints coaches say he has looked faster and more fluid on the field.
;D (I'm really cracking myself up today). ;D
