None of those teams are a vertical team.
The Raiders and Lions are practically horizontal.
The Lions will be more of a vertical team this year. Burleson had to settle for the short passing game but he can go downfield too.

The Raiders, well, they already have the receivers, they need a Quarterback and Oline.
The Saints are a vertical team. So are the Eagles. Maybe the colts, but not really.

The raiders have good players who aren't busts or overpaid? Did hell just freeze over?
    We're bringing purple back.

When did the raiders get "the receivers"?
I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.

I would go for the Jets...

The TO signing will probably not happen until after Camp starts. There are a lot of WRs in the draft and I think most teams would rather see if they can make a fortuitous draft pick than commit to TO.

I think TO would make an interesting add to the Vikes if:

    1. He stayed under the radar - (No reality TV)
    2. He played hard when in game
    3. He didn't pout about being WR3/4
    4. An incentive laden contract
    5. Keep the ability to Cut TO at anytime without any guaranteed money

Face it, if this dude wants to play he could probably still be very effective.

I think he would play hard for Favre as long as he saw the ball 5 or 6 times a game. I don't know if he would commit to blocking so he would only see 3rd down and long type situations. Maybe not a bad thing opposite of Rice.

I agree. I think T.O. could serve the same way Ricky Proehl served with the Panthers. The sleeper wideout that most Defenses dont really factor into their gameplans, but still keeps them on the balls of the feet.

As far as drama, he did pretty good this season..of course, i'd expect him to try to not to look like an ass the first year.

Well Johnnie Lee Higgins isn't too bad. He just needs a better QB that can throw to him. Something tells me Oakland's getting impatient with Jamarcus Russell..

TOs nex stop should be doing sit ups on his driveway in NJ.

He's a talented player but his mouth runs him off a lot of teams. He would never come to the Vikings given the history between he and Childress.

I could see the Bears taking a chance on him. I can't see any team that has a young QB going for him. This guy gets the worst of people and a smart team wouldn't want to risk the affects on a young QB.

LOL. The last I knew he lived in a town named Moorestown, NJ. That was back when he was an Eagle though so maybe he sold that house and moved.

He has talent. I'm not sure if he "lost a step" as someone else stated. We have no way of knowing that unless we are out there timing him. But the guy always plays hard. He's just a jackass that can't control his mouth. It affects a lot of QBs. I noticed how well Romo played last year. Seemed to me he was more comfortable without having that jackass telling him to throw him the ball on every play. He is not a good confidence builder and the team player he certainly is not.
