New nfl.com
If anybody else frequents www.nfl.com you would notice that they just went through a major face lift.
I haven't made my way through the entire site yet, but it is a lot better then its predecessor. For starters, they allow you to create and account and then aggregate favorite team specific news onto the main page.
Also, there is a lot of video on the site, and an entire section devoted to video of game highlights.
The top looks to be a real time scoreboard too.
Still not as good as PP.O, but it has potential...Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

I am NodakPaul - no surprise there.

As far as video, ALL of the game highlights are there.
Go to Scores, then Schedules, and you can click on any game and watch highlights on it.
I just spent the past two minutes watching a very good recap of the Vikings-St Louis game.
EDIT: Here is the video link for the Vikings-St Louis game.

I am very happy they are providing game recaps, especially since they locked down what the media can show online.Zeus wrote:

WOW!
They also have Video RSS feeds!
I just subscribed to get every Vikings video from nfl.com on my Google Homepage!
I am very impressed so far...Zeus wrote:

Re: New nfl.com
I agree. It's great so far.
I also subscribed to the RSS, that's really a very good service. Now they just need to start producing more on the Vikings.
Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Re: New nfl.com
Looks good but typical that it doesn't realise that not everywhere in the world has numerical postcodes !
I can see this definitely being an upgrade over the old site - not as good as PP.O of course.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

Re: New nfl.com
If you click on a player's page, they have highlight videos for that player. For instance, TJ's page has a pass to Moore, and a pass to Taylor, both from last year's game against the Jets.
