Let me get this right, the former offensive coordinator of the 49ers is the fudgepackers new head coach. I guess that's good for us, cuz man wasn't the 49ers offense explosive last year!!!!!!!!!! Aren't people normally promoted after a good year?????? i'm a little confused here.

McCarthy and Favre after beating the Vikes at Lambeau in 1999 (no lie).
Oh my, what will Madden do when he sees this picture brought back into the mix?
McCarthy is just kissing Favre's head. Madden won't mind. He spends all of his time kissing Favre's jiggly butt.
I think Madden would be thrown into a jealous rage if he saw that.

Journal Sentinel scribe Tom Silverstein thinks Green Bay GM Ted Thompson may face open revolt from the team's diehard fans when he announces little known Mike McCarthy, San Francisco's offensive coordinator, will be Mike Sherman's replacement as head coach of the Packers.
