Re: New Leader of the Pack

Next year could be special for Favre and the Packers because he could set the career record for interceptions. (Source: www.jsonline.com)

Interceptions: This is one category where Favre doesn't want to move to the head of the class. But if he returns, it seems inevitable. George Blanda threw the most career picks with 277 and is followed by John Hadl (268), Fran Tarkenton (266) and Favre (255).

Favre has averaged 1.13 interceptions per game over his 15-year career, meaning he'd need 19.41 games to catch Blanda.

This season, though, Favre threw 29 interceptions or 1.81 per game. At that rate, Favre would catch Blanda after just 12.14 games, or Week 13 of next season.

I wonder if they are trying to tell Brett Favre what they want him to do hiring a guy like that. Somebody better take Jim Bates away from them for a head coaching job just because so they can lose what progress he actually gave to their pathetic defense.

That is what I thought, if any of you guys watch Viva La Bam or Jacka$$ on MTV notice that the guy looks like Preston Lacey.

I have never even heard of this guy. Good luck going 4-12 for the next 4 to 6 years.

That is funny. Why would they hire that guy? I guess no one else wanted to go to Green Bay. Now Favre is done wtih them for sure because he said the only way he would go back to the pack is if they hired Mooch for coach.

It will be great to see the Pack suck again next season. It will give me another year to harass my Pack lovin Hillbilly inlaws.
