My fairly late picks for this weekend.

Sorry I have been around lately to join discussions and to put my picks in earlier, I have been busy all week.
So sense I'm not right now, I'm going to get my picks out before it IS too late.

    Washington (11-6) at Seattle (13-3)

I'm taking Seattle. Washington won't get by with the offensive numbers they put up last week against this Seahawk's team. Seattle is great on all sides of the ball and I think they will just out play and out coach the 'Skins.

New England (11-6) at Denver (13-3)

Boy this is a tough one..
A bit of a suprise to some, but I'm taking the Patriots. Rolling off the convincing win they had last week I think against a good Panthers team will help motivate them. Plus, they met earlier in the year, and we know how well Belichick plots during the playoffs, and sense they have already met as I said, I'm sure he will have something for the Broncs. Should be a good game. Oh, and Denver hasn't won a playoff game since 1999.

    Pittsburgh (12-5) at Indianapolis (14-2)

    Another tough one.
It's hard to go against the Colts at anytime (as in home or away), and the fact they are home in this game makes their chances even better, which is why I am taking the Colts. Even though the Colts did lose at home to San Diego to end their history hopes, I just can't go against. But, I wouldn't be suprised if Pittsburgh did win.

    Carolina (12-5) at Chicago (11-5)

This one will be fun to watch. I'm picking the Panthers, and here's why:
After the shut out over a good and promising Giants, the Panthers should be more motivated and pumped up than they ever have been before. If they can shut down Chicago's running game like they stopped Barber of the Giants (I believe they held him to something like 40 some odd yeards) they will win this game. Shut down the Bear's run, and play conservative ball on offense so you don't turnover the ball because we all know how the Bear's love to score on Defense. So stop the run, and play conservative.

Well, there are my pick's a half hour before the first game

I'll agree with 3 of your 4 picks...

I'll go the other way on the Denver game......I think this will be the end of hearing 3pete....

Broncos are a solid team, and not getting much credit it seems..

Pats go down in Mile High....

I agree Seahawks win..but I'd take the Skins to cover the +9.5 spread, I hear it's raining in Seattle.

I also need NO score in the last 2 minutes in the ist half, a Skins Rushing TD

I knew the Pats where done.......Thank God I don't have to watch Brady or the Pats anymore this season...

I don't think the Broncos will get by the Colts or Pittsburg (whoever wins tomorrow)

I only got to watch the first half but I must say that if I were a Pat fan I would be major pissed at the refs for the blown calls. Especially the interference call that gave the broncs a TD. Really bad officiating the first half. At least the challenge on the INT was upheld for the Pats.

Yeah. There was a boat load of bad calls this weekend.

Two games could have been easily decided by them, too.
Too bad though, I don't mind the Patriots and I kinda wanted them to go on. Without them it's not gonna be the same playoffs without them. Not sure if that's good or bad

On another note, how bout the Steelers?!
I thinnk they could easily go all the way after all the tough teams they have won over...

    Let's continue:

    It's really this simple .....

    NFC - Panthers
    AFC - Steelers

..... Yup, both road teams win it and go the the Dance. Why you ask?? Defense wins championships.
