    MVP - Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning was voted the MVP. Should have been AD IMHO.

from the sounds of it, it doesn't look like AD got any love at all, with manning, then pennington and Turner in that order.

Now we dont have to hear how Favre is the only three time MVP winner. Now Peyton is there with him. Peyton could get another one before it is all said and done.

    Thanks PPE for the Sig

As a NFL fan, I think he deserved it and don't mind how they ranked them out.

AD, with all due respect and man-love, was only the 3rd best RB in the NFC.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

disagree, I think he's the best in the NFC, but only the 3rd most valuable in the NFC.
Deangelo Williams is probably the most valuable, as you might notice, when he plays well, the panthers play well.
Turner has really helped turn the falcons into a respectable team again.
Peterson came in as an upgrade to an already decent running game.
If you take away peterson, we're probably 8-8, but if you take away deangelo or turner, they're probably sitting at 5-11, which to me is an indication that they are more valuable to their team.

AP fumbled away his shot at MVP against the Falcons.

    Peyton deserved it, hands down.

As far as MVP goes, here's to AP winning Super Bowl XLIII MVP.
...Rodgers had to hold on the ball longer, giving players like Jared "I am completely insane and will literally eat your children" Allen time to sack Rodgers again. And again. And again. Actually I think Rodgers may have nightmares about Jared Allen the rest of the year.

I'd rather not get into a symantics debate over "best" vs. "most valueable".

    DeAngelo had 20 TDs.
    Turner had 17.
    AD had 10.
Those TD numbers more than outweigh yards.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

I heard/read several guys talk about his pass blocking as a issue as well.

Lendale White has 15, Tim Hightower has 10, does that mean White is better than AD and Hightower is just as good?

What it tells me is Peterson doesn't get the TD opportunities that some of the other backs do.

    from the Vikings
    Peterson has 10 TD's
    Taylor has 4 TD's
    Jackson has 0 TD's

what that tells me is they just don't get as many td opportunities as some other teams.

    Deangelo Williams: 18
    Jonathan Stewart: 10

What that tells me is they get more opportunities to rush for a score than we do, because neither of them are more gifted as athletes than Peterson is.

Think of it this way, if you plugged Williams into the vikings instead of peterson and ran all the same plays, He wouldn't have gotten 18 TDs here, and if you plugged Peterson into the Panthers and ran the same plays, he would have probably at least 18 td's.
