Thread: Moss missing Raiders practices

ESPN just reported on Sports Center that Randy is not at Raiders camp for team practices.

Are these "voluntary" practices at this point?
I dont know what kind of practices they are talking about, do you?

Jerry McDonald of InsideBayArea.com reports that receiver Randy Moss has decided not to report for the first voluntary minicamp of the Lane Kiffin era.

Defensive tackle Warren Sapp and defensive end Derrick Burgess also were absent.

Moss has been the subject of rampant trade rumors, which have subsided over the past few weeks.
The Raiders, as we hear it, understand that he wants to get closer to his children, who live in Florida.
But there is no urgency for the Raiders to move Moss, given that they owe him no money until the start of the regular season.

Our current gut feeling is that Moss will be traded shortly before or during the draft, and that the Raiders will pounce on Calvin Johnson with the No. 1 overall pick.

Shocking! An all-star veteran player not showing up at a voluntary mini-camp.

So he want's to be closer to his kids to teach them to be slackers.

Randy Moss elected not to join the Raiders for their first voluntary minicamp Tuesday. It's an exaggeration, but not by much, to say his teammates were too busy to notice.
