Did anyone see the HBO interview tonight? It was said at the conclusion of the interview that Moss doesn't use drugs.. before that Moss claimed he might have fun once and a while when asked about if he still does them.. it left me a little perplexed. Nonetheless, it was a great segment, from the classic "straight cash homey.. what's 10 grand? ain't shit" to the part about him and that little girl he befriended and spent time with while she was in the hospital.

I just watched the Moss interview that they made such a big deal about.

It was totally blown out of proportion just like most of us thought.

He never said that he is smoking, he said he has and doesn't give us a definitive answer that he will never do it again. He does say that he tries to keep a natural athlete's body, like he doesn't want to poison the temple. He does say that he doesn't let alcohol or drugs run his life. Basically, he knows he would be a hypocrite if he didn't say yes, he is honest. I thought the interview was a positive interview over all, just like most of the interviews on Real Sport w/Bryant Gumble. Moss has done so much for the kids and others that need help in the MN area while he was hear. He never tried to use that to make people think he was a good person because he knows what he is. GOOD INTERVIEW!!

My interpretation of the interview:

I truly believe that Randy is a good guy. To sum it up, Randy sees himself as a good person because he does good things for others. He sees himself a brash in an honest way. It reminds me a lot of a good college friend. Sometimes people that are that brash and honest go a little too far but at least you know they are honest. His real problem is that he doesn't care about correcting his public image and it cost him tons of money, but he doesn't care about the money because he knows he would have to jump through hoops for so many people. The real problem is because he doesn’t want to correct his image it just gets worse because the writers just pummel him because they see it as arrogant and out of the norm. That is what I got out of the interview.

Randy was a Headline on the evening sportcenter tonight also.

Man, they are going to take this to the Nth degree this year.

Mortenson reported on sportcenter that the League DR, tried to make Randy take a drug test becasue of his comments, ie trying to put him on the testing program. Moss' attorney met with the league to say that this is not acceptable. Defense is that there was no action, just words.

Sounds like this action is speaking volumes.

Personally, I think it is a which hunt. They shouldn't be allowed to throw him into the testing pool, unless he was picked in a RANDOM process.

Since this is a Randy Moss thread. Anyone happen to the hear the anouncers of the Raiders game claim that Randy Moss said he doesnt like offense that he would rather play defense because offense is boring?

Did not hear that, but since this is a weed (substance) thread, did you hear that Charlie Rogers, the Det WR will be sitting out 4 games. He had to much water in his urine or something like that.
