Apparently, if you are a chiefs fan who can't get his fat arse off his seat, you can complain about the other fans in front of you standing by sending a text message to the stadium popo.


I guess pft is trying to tie this in with the Giant's PSL plan...as another affront to the average fan.
On top of the ticket price for season tix, Giants fans will now be required to purchase a Personal Seat Liscence (PSL) which guarantees them the first shot at purchasing those seats each year, and gives them slightly more control over who they hand the rights to their seats if they no longer want them...

On one hand, that's another $1000 to $5000 per season tix sold...pretty steep!
On the other, if its what we need to get a stadium done in MN, maybe its worth looking into.

if they do then it's not at all stadiums. I've been to the Dome and also the Georgia Dome and haven't seen any standing only sections. Don't forget times for games are a lot longer than for football ( soccer ) in Europe and so I don't think that standing only sections would even have been considered.

PSL's are looking to be the way forward. It was done here in England for the new Wembley stadium so that the chance of someone wanting to get tickets for England games on a one-off basis are pretty non-existent. I think I read somewhere that Dallas are also going to have PSL's for their new stadium as well. So I could well see if happening for a new stadium in Minny.

As for sitting down all through a game ?

When I've paid good money to go to a game then I'm there to support the team. That doesn't happen by me sitting on my duff for 4 quarters, it happens by me standing and shouting my head off at the appropriate times. So as the Vikes don't go down that line then things will be fine
