What a truly classy player and man McDaniel is.. very happy he got inducted as deserved.

Simply one of the best Guards ever to play this game and by all known accounts still represents the game and the Vikings well today.

The sad part is a great man with great character like Randall will get very little fanfare after his speech while
a cokehead like Mike Irvan gets a whole documentary on his trip. Then they wonder why so many young players go the wrong way.

    A humble, respectful, purposeful man.
Given those attributes and his on the field accomplishments, deserving of his post in Canton.
Proud to be a Vikings fan, thanks for the memories and inspiration Randall McDaniel.

Truly one of the best guards of all time. A well deserved enshrinement to the HOF. Makes me a proud Viking fan.

I learned a lot listening to his speech.
I had no idea he was a converted tight end, and I didn't realize that he got his unique stance due to injury.

If you saw how much purple was in the stands during the induction ceremony, it was clear that at least the fans came out to support him.

The standout guard thanked many influential people in his life, including former Vikings line coach John Michels.

I thought the best speech Saturday at the Pro Football Hall of Fame inductions was given by former Vikings guard Randall McDaniel...
