MMQB - Peter King rates the starting QBs
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2007/writers/peter_king/06/17/qbs/index.html
He ranks Tarvaris at #30, which I think is very fair, given the results of his non-preseason games last year.Ranking all 32 QBs
Evaluating every NFL team at the most crucial position

It's been a little boring around the NFL over the last month or so. Lots of off-the-field crappola going on, but not much to sink your football teeth into. Here's my attempt to stir things up. It's the first MMQB Quarterback Ratings.
Here's what I've done: ranked the 2007 starting quarterbacks in the league from 1 to 32, from Manning (Peyton) to Croyle (Brodie). The rankings are in the order of quarterbacks who will have the best seasons in 2007 and 2007 only.

Pretty good rankings, IMO. Vince Young is wayy too high though. I don't understand why all of the analysts are so high on him. He won a lot of games last year but wasn't overly impressive against good teams.

3 Rook RB's.
Givens/Gage are his WR corp.
Realatively young OL with a couple of Old dudes thrown in.

I think he has a great shot at being that reliable explosive passer, but he didn't win many (any?) games with his arm last year.
The kid is just a tremendous athlete.

The fabulous playoff successes of the past 2 years for the Falcons?
The high completion percentages?
The huge TD numbers?

20 TDs passing, 2 rushing.
Also 13 picks, 45 times sacked, 9 fumbles and a solid 7-9 record including a 3-game skid to close the season and miss the playoffs.
His 75.7 passer rating is mediocre and placed him in the lower 3rd of NFL QBs last season.
Behind such immortals as Cleo Lemon, Jamie Martin, Seneca Wallace and Jason Campbell.
