    Mitch Berger available?

Read a bit into the article...he was quietly released by the Saints...I wonder if he has anything left in the tank?

    Especially on kickoffs!

His stock went down since the SB commercial.

if hes healthy, then hopefully we sign him..we badly need somebody that can actually get a kickoff somewhere near the goalline

If I rememeber correctly, when he left the Vikes, he badmouthed the team and orgainization.
We will never take him back.

Yes he did. While his major beef was with the Tice regime and the previous ownership, he did say some things that would make it hard for me to see him back in Purple.

    Some more notable quotes:

    "Mike Tice is a meathead."

"Mike Tice is just an extension of that organization. No class. None."

"...I was glad to be out of there. I have no respect for that organization in any manner."

"As far as I'm concerned, when Denny Green walked out the door, so did all the class. All the class in that organization walked out with him."

And I don't see Tice around anymore. Only a handful of players are left form his era. This team is very different from the 2005 version. But I don't think it matters anyway. If Kluwe can get back to how he was rookie year, we should be fine. If not, perhaps we could give a call to Darren Bennett, I think international rates may apply though, so make it quick. We only have 27.5 million to spend.
