Re: Michael Crabtree officially signed with the Niners

I find it funny that now that the 49ers are doing good, Crabtree decides he wants to play.
    What a douche.

Re: Michael Crabtree officially signed with the Niners

Think he's worth picking up in fantasy football?
I don't think this holdout will hurt him much. Just like favre, good play will make everyone forget about this rather quickly. I expect a high level of play from him. Personally I'm glad he held out, he might have been the difference in the vikings 49ers game.

    I agree.
He's getting nothing more than he would have gotten if he inked in the offseason.
    What a tool.

Not a chance that he has any true impact over the next month or so.
    He is too far behind.

That might be part of it, but it was always about money IMHO.
Money and the fact that he thought he was better than the position he was drafted.
Still somewhat of a douche, I agree.

He finally realized he wasn't going to get it.
He was running out of leverage.
His advising team made a mistake.

I just picked him up in one league. I also got Braylon Edwards in another.

On a slightly different note...I could have predicted this on Sunday morning when I dropped him from my fantasy team.
That is pretty much always the case with me and fantasy teams.

I pick them up, they get injured.
I drop them they go off for the rest of the year.

I know he probably won't have a great year, but none the less...I could have predicted this.

Re: Michael Crabtree officially signed with the Niners

I personally think this whole situation was just dumbfounding.

I don't get what took both sides so long, in particular Crabtree's side.

He certainly can be a solid addition, but the 49ers better not expect anything until after at least Week 8 or 9.
