Michael Crabtree officially signed with the Niners
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=4538482
Well, the kid finally realized that it was best to sign this year; rather than holding out until next years draft and losing lots of money. It's going to make the Niners that much better... Look out, thank god we played them week 3!

What a dumbass.
He will never be able to catch up this year - he missed WAY too much.
This little stunt did nothing other thatn harm his career.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Re: Michael Crabtree officially signed with the Niners
I really don't blame him for this. I blame Deion Sanders for "mentoring" him, and obviously having nothing but his own intentions to get his name on the air for any reason. I blame his agent/cousin for thinking he's a big shot and hampering Crabtree's career just so HE can make a few extra bucks.
I blame everyone around Crabtree, not Crabtree.Trying to bring rationale to an irrational site

That is true but he is still a young adult and his agent should have been looking out for his best interests."Braddock" wrote:

That is why they are hired in the first place.
In this case the agent and family members screwed up.
Crabtree maybe could have told them he just wants to play but he was definitely mentored / influenced wrong here.

Agreed...he will learn the hard way that he and only he is accountable for his decisions. Gonna be fun to see how and when Singletary works him into the offense. That's not the way to endear oneself to a coach like Mike.Any man who afflicts the human race with ideas must be prepared to see them misunderstood. - H.L. Mencken

Re: Michael Crabtree officially signed with the Niners
That is on nobody but him.
If he's an idiot, he shouldn't take advise from idiots. At some point you need to realize you're an idiot and get somebody to help you that WILL look out for your best interests.
Granted, all signs point to him being an idiot and we can't expect him to make wise decisions.
Ahh... circular arguments
