I was very happy to see Daunte go and got in some heated discussions on this topic.
I am man enough to admit that I was wrong.

Less than 50% completions
0/2 TD/INT ratio with one going for six

Now we're stuck in Minnesota with that stiff Brad.
Yeah he doesn't throw more INTs than TDs but he is a loser.
I'm sorry Daunte.

One game against a top 10 defense is all you need to justify your point?

God forbid but if Brad throws 2 ints and less than 262 yards you are going to be eating your own crow in less than a week. I say give it at least four games to draw comparisons.

Brad is our man...not like Cowher is Porter's man...but that is a whole 'nother story!

Brad is our QB...the only time this season we should be concerned about Daunte is when we play them...and then our Vike-tastic Four will SHUT HIM DOWN!!!

Not like I'm trying to defend Culpepper or anything, but its not like Brad played that great against the Steelers last season either, in fact he threw a INT to Joey Porter too.
I wouldn't judge too much from one game, though it is good to see Culpepper struggle :P.

Italy - The difference is that was last year and this is this year....Until we see Brad This year give hime the benefit of the doubt because a news flash just came in.........

Brad can Read a Defense- Daunte can not.

Those are straight facts....

262 yards don't mean diddly when you don't throw for a touchdown and you throw two picks DOWN THE STRETCH of the game.

The fact is, we will never be able to draw comparisons statistically between Daunte and Brad. Daunte will always put up big statistics but will never win because of what we saw tonight. Brad's stats will always be modest but he will always win more games because he doesn't make mistakes at inopportunte times.
