    Pep has 5-10 left..

Re: Was the McNair deal more of a steal than the Culpepper deal?

McNair has 3-4 years left at best.

Culpepper, if the knee holds up, could play another 7-8 years. If it doesn't he may be gone in a year or two.

Both teams needed QB's desperately. Both got great deals. No question, who's better when they're on their game, and it's Culpepper. He had 3 MVP caliber seasons, he was not a one year wonder, he also had 3 poor seasons. McNair might have been more consistent, but Culpepper had much more potential. If both QB's play as long as they possibly can in full health, and have success, than Miami got a slightly better deal, but Ravens still got a steal, too.

Good analysis Jdogg..I agree with ya full out bro

Pep gives ya more of a playmaking ability and is always there healthy, while McNair has only played in all 16 games in a season 1 time the last 7 years..

McNair is on the downside of his career and Pep is on the rise.. I think a fresh start will benifit Pep alot

Brad Johnson's and Steve McNair's passing stats are eerily similar!!!

I feel the Ravens and fish got away with something. These guys are good and much better than a second and for fourth rounders. But it depends on the dirction your boat is going.
Any matter can be resolved over a few coldies.
