Filed to ESPN: Donovan McNabb has been traded to the Washington Redskins. Compensation still unknown. But McNabb's a Redskin.

Redskins get McNabb from Eagles for 37th overall pick plus a 3rd or 4th round pick, based on performance. Full story on NFL Net and NFL.comWe're bringing purple back.

Re:McNabb traded to Redskins for picks.
i wonder if the redskins still plan on taking a qb with their 1st rounder.. the question was never where he was gonna get traded to, they made it clear they were gonna trade him, the question is where he did get traded to, is he gonna sign a long term deal with that team

I hope they don't extend his contract. I still want the option open for 2011. Damn Redskins!

Re:McNabb traded to Redskins for picks.
Wow the eagles traded him in their own division  , if the skins can't resign him they will have to tag him with all those picks they gave away. May have to restructure Haynesworth contract next year for some cap space.(if Albert survives converting to a 3-4 defense) :side:
I don't know how the skins will screw this up, but where there is a Dan there is a way.

Re:McNabb traded to Redskins for picks.
With the addition of Larry Johnson, Willie Parker & Donovan McNabb Redskins are clear favourites to win 2006 NFC East.
They also have Campbell, Grossman, and Colt Brennan on the roster. Someone has to be gone. We're bringing purple back.

Damn I would never have expected that it's like if Vikings traded AD to the Packers.
Minnesota Vikings : Simply the best

Re:McNabb traded to Redskins for picks.
I love this. Now if only the vikings would trade up to the raiders pick and snag clausen before someone else does. unless the skins still go with clausen, but i think they will go okung unless the lions take him over suh and mccoy.
I did see a mock draft where suh slipped to the 8th pick, now if the vikings had that pick and suh slipped to the 8th and so did clausen, who would you take? Clausen or Suh?I am NOT here to provide good football insight or rational observations. I am an emotional 19 year old Viking fan and I expect you to adjust your expectations from my posts.
