Unfortunantly, Donovan probably has some valid points, however it's such a touchy issue you can't expound on it without hurting somebodies feelings. In fact in this politicle correct society everyone is far to touchy.... making mountains outta molehills.
I gotta agree with PT on this one.
I had a discussion with some Southern gentlemen this very weekend on this very same subject regarding the race of our QB and thiers (Skins).
Obviously it is still an issue in America.
Very sad my friends, very sad indeed.
I agree with these two posts.
I think that even comments about DC on this board were at times influenced by his race.
You can see it in some post.
I think that most post that were critical of him were based on football.
As far as McNabb, I think that he wore out his welcome in Philly.
I think with all those NCF championship games and no SuperBowl Title, the fans can't be happy.
They seem like they are about where we were after 2000.
We were facing a mediocre team coming off some successful years.
We needed a change.
Back to McNabb, if he would have won that SB title, then he would be an idol but now he is a ?loser? to the fans because of the losses.
"Oh he can't win the big game,"
I think we heard that about DC.
BTW, I heard it on NFLN or ESPN, the speculation that McNabb doesn't want to be in Philly next year.....
I am not even going to suggest it, Cajun might have a coronary.
