    I couldn't believe there was no penalty and will be no fine/suspension.
    That was a pretty clear case of spearing.

    Clark had his head down and hit McGahee right on the side of the helmet using the crown of his own helmet.
    Not to mention if it wasn't spearing/helmet to helmet Clark would likely not have knocked himself out and hurt his neck.
    That's a perfect example of how NOT to tackle, for either player's safety.

    you can tell he was trying to turn the shoulder, it was just an unfortunate hit.
    Not for a second did I ever think it was intentional

    Facemasks can be unintentional too, but if they fit the criteria they should be called.
    It's because of stuff like this not getting called that players even try to tackle like that, rather than keeping your head up, using your arms and driving through them.
