One of the rumors at the NFL owner's meeting in Arizona is that the Raiders are interested in making Josh McCown their quarterback for the second straight year.

Yes!It shouldn't take much to get McCown from the Lions, especially if Detroit has its eyes on Quinn at No. 2.

I would guess noThere are still questions as to whether Daunte Culpepper will ever be healthy enough to be the quarterback he was in 2004.

Re: McCown makes sense
Everytime I read about the Raiders possibly picking up a QB in FA I get angry becasue I know if they do that, the domino effect will be GB getting Randy Moss.
They will pass on Russell, pick Calvin Johnson and trade Moss to GB.
I know Moss isn't the WR he once was however I don't know if that's becasue he was with a team that couldn't throw or if he has lost a step with his injuries.
Either way, I can't stand thinking about him being in a GB uniform

Kiffin expects Moss to be back
http://www.madison.com/wsj/home/sports/index.php?ntid=126422&ntpid=2
No matter which team Randy Moss is playing for next season - whether it's his current team, the Oakland Raiders, or his oft- rumored future team, the Green Bay Packers - the widely held belief is that the once-dynamic wide receiver will have to put forth much greater effort if he's going to recapture the game-changing impact he once had.
"I don't know if I'd use the word 'bored,' but I think he was very frustrated (last season)," new Raiders coach Lane Kiffin said Tuesday morning during the AFC coaches breakfast at the annual NFL meetings at the Arizona Biltmore resort. "You'd go through games where (Moss) would have two balls thrown in his direction (out of) 65 plays and (the Raiders were) behind. I'm not being critical of the play- calling. He was frustrated."
Kiffin, for the record, said Tuesday morning that he expects Moss to still be clad in silver-and-black this season, although he didn't rule out a trade, either. Moss is set to earn base salaries of $9.75 million in 2007 and $11.25 million in '08, and the Raiders could decide to cut ties with him to save money.Kentucky Vikes Fan

That would be great!
How unhappy would Randy be having McClown throwing to him. What we've got here is failure to communicate.
