Now I know that Kiper has been doin the draft since the start of the NFL but did he play? I would respect Mayock's views more for the simple fact that he played in the NFL. What are some opinions on this?

I clearly see what you're saying, but sometimes it's better to have an "outside" assessment. For example, the guy that coached Elling has never kicked a ball or even walked(or something like that).
Kiper is usually dead on and he was on espn 790 radio with sean salisbury and jhon clayton. He said that chicago is picking B.Edwards and Tennesse is picking M.Wiliams. We need to trade up if we want B.Edwards. He is gonna be the next roy williams.

I hate mike mayock! If you had the NFL network last year, before the draft, you got to see how off he is. He only wishes he knew as much as kiper does. Mayock doesn't spend anywhere near the ammount of time, socouting these players, as kiper does. He uses highlight videos of the players to show they are good. Well guess what, of coarse they are gonna be doing good things in their highlight videos, THAT IS THE D@MN POINT OF THE HIGHLIGHT VIDEO! Kiper may be off on some of his predictions, but he is way more accurate than mayock.
Those guys on NFL playbook, on the NFL network are a complete joke! I just say that fat O-linamn(his name is on the tip of my tongue) say that the 49ers will take antrell rolle #1. WOW.
I take ESPN anyday, over the NFL network idiots. Kiper, clayton, pasquarelli, and mort are the 4 best in the business. Salisbury and shlerith(sp) belong with the NFL network idiots, as does merell hodge, who said the eagles wouldn't even make the playoffs last year.

Anyway, I don't really have a preferance between the two. While I do dislike everyone else on Playbook.
Both of them aren't great in my opinion.
Though he's not an draft guru, I do like Adam Schefter from NFL Access on the NFL Network. He gives good information and is usually never wrong with facts (if ever.)
