Maybe its time to pay attention to the powder blue and slver
ok serious discussion here.
No stupid illogical posts about how the lions suck, just give me a logical opinion.
I must say begrudgingly I've been impressed by the Detroit Lions moves in the free agent market.
The pickup of Tatum Bell and George Foster were schrewd for what they gave up a malcontent CB who didn't well into the cover 2 scheme.
Today I see they added a little bit of short yardage fire power in the form of TJ Duckett.
Now I'm a litttle but subjective, but I've always liked this guy.
Plus they still keep hanging around in the mix for Kevin Curtis.
Now at the sake of eating some crow, I must say I've been impressed by the logic of their transactions and must say i don't like it.

Do they still have Kitna at QB? I guess they could be contenders. But they won't be serious contenders unless they get a new QB.

LOL I could of expected that from you. ;D
I agree the QB situation is pretty messed up and by no means do I think they will be a superbowl contender, but still a few decent moves for that team and hey I'll give credit where credit is due.
I guess the real test will be during the season.

They are improving, there is no doubt about it.
There defense has improved, and now they have several quality RBs and some decent receivers.
I'm wondering if they go after Brady Quinn in the draft.

Ok, its a bit of stretch, but I don't see that having anything to do with their transactions this year.
I know the Detroit fans are pretty sick of losing, so what, this new coach their is actually building a team.

I've always believed, the bad don't always stay at the bottom. There will come a time when the lions do become a force in the Div........They are making some changes for sure, from coaches to players.
The biggest plus for the team that they could do is get rid of Matt M.
Thats a fact.....But I do think they have no where else to go but up......Just lets hope they don't go up as high as we do....
Re: Maybe its time to pay attention to the powder blue and slver
The Lions improve every year, too bad it never is reflected in their record or play on the field.

You can't count anyone out in the NFL. You have to respect every team every season.
