Max Starks might not even start for the Steelers?

He can have one of the two starting tackle positions for the Vikes...just for the asking.

He would be a nice stopgap for McKinnie's possible suspension, then could step in at RT once Big Mac is back.

Yeah, he has a big contract, but what's a few million dollars if it upgrades the offense?

I'm waiting for Mr A. to come here and tell us that this would be the biggest scoop of the offseason.

By my account we could always use help/competition at the OL. This is the one position that worries me the most at the moment.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

I think Cook will improve over last season as TJ will.
I'm more worried about who will fill in for McKinnie, assuming that he will get a 2 game suspension
I prefer Chase though, big guy. But then again we haven't seen him doing anything..

I'm sure he will. I just think that we are still a little thin at the position, I'd like some tougher competition in TC.

As for the LT spot, I think it will also depend on how severe a penalty Bic M will get. Look for Chase and Hicks to compete for it though. I think it'll be Hicks, especially if it's just for the first two games.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Yeah that would make a lot of sense adding a backup from one of the worst pass blocking O-lines last year that will improve us.

Well, I'm guessing that it wasn't all Max Starks's fault.

Just throwing it out there...not advocating it as a be-all, end-all solution.
