Something about all the Jones talk as of late makes me think bust ... big time ... but that is just a gut feeling ... awfully late in his football career to be learning WR at an NFL level ...

bad thing about Jones is it's going to take time for him to develop, could be years before he's ready or he could be a bust. We want a player who has the best chance of contributing right away.

Got to gamble a little to get ahead in this league...us drafting Moss when no one else wanted him sure paid some very good dividends...Jones could do the same.

Again, I only advocate picking him at #18 IF we don't get BMW or e-Bray!!!

ok, it wouldnt be a terrible pick i guess, but i think the chances are there will be someone left on the board that we could do with more than jones at #18

im thinking spears possibly but more likely williamson or james depending on what happens with our #7. i guess if we cant get a guy along those lines jones wouldnt be a bad choice, i do like what i've seen of him, especially an amazing long one handed catch in the endzone i saw on some clip on total access. he's a risky pick but if we can't get someone we really want, why not take a risk i suppose. the good thing about risks is sometimes they pay off

well, with difficulty but it can be done. 3 live NFL games a week get shown here if you have cable, which i do. the hardest thing is following the news as absolutley nothing to do with american football gets reported in the sports press here. however this site has pretty much saved all that so i was very happy to find it.

i'm gonna have a nightmare next year as i'm moving out to go to university where i wont have my own tv with cable, i'll have to find a shared one on campus somewhere, and do my very best to persuede them to let me watch the NFL on it.

there's two more brits around these boards btw so i'm not alone in my long distance support.

Maybe someone else already said this but quote me on it "That is way toooooooooooo early". We have much greater needs to address. If we want to got to Detroit in Feb. we do not want to draft a project in the first round (example: passing on Kearse in 1998 to take Underwood)!!!!

Moss was different, and he was at one position which he performed well at so it wasn't that big a surprise that the gamble payed off.
