    That is too bad.
My thoughts and prayers are with Matt.

    +1

His father must have been pretty young.
    This is very unfortunate.

At least he got to see his son play pretty darn good for the Patriots this year.

Unfortunate loss for his family, but I'm sure Matt was happy his Dad got to see him play.

This is tragic, probably the best year for Matt turned into the worst year just like that, just days before a well awaited Christmas.

I hope Goodell chokes on his next meal.

Obviously, Matt has been living his life's dream and to have this happen now is so saddening.

My families thoughts and prayers go out to him.
I used to be indecisive, now I m not so sure!

Definitely a tragic loss. I know what it's like to lose your Father at a young age (my Dad was 63 when he died). My heart goes out to Matt and his family. You just never know in this game called Life what we will be dealt.

It's always such a tragic event.
I always find it as a good refresher that wether you're a multi millionare or a working class guy you're still human and still have feelings.
I just had a family friend die lately at the age of 97 and that was tough enough, now having a parent taken from you suddenly in their 50's or 60's?
I don't think I would handle it very well.
