Say it ain't so!!! I wouldn't mind seeing Marshall going to another team to finish out his career...maybe one that has a really weak running game...one that he could get more carries for!
the problem is, his knees are shot, and he cant cut like he used to..he also has lost that explosiveness that could take him straight from a juke to top speed..he wouldnt be much help to a team unless they used him to catch passes out of the backfield or else lined him up at receiver from time to time
Maybe he should try and catch on with the Colts...he could probably teach Addai a thing or two. He has still got to be better than Domenick Rhodes or anyone else that they have. He started with the Colts and unless there is some bad blood there, he would be able to go full circle and finish with them. Also, the Colts would give him a better chance to go out with a ring than the Rams would. He could have a decent season without having to carry too much of the workload, especially once Addai got the hang of things. He would be an ideal third-down back for Peyton to utilize.

I think he could do that and he would still be a very good 3rd down back with his great running and receiving skills.

Yeah, he's lost his quickness. He also hasn't done a good job of keeping in good shape, which doesn't help the knees.

That move would certainly make a lot of sense but what would the Rams want for him, because that might leave them thin at RB.

    From Peter King's MMQBTE:

"SURPRISE! ANOTHER HALL OF FAME QUESTION! From Malcolm of Sandwich, Ill.: "With what appears to be the impending retirement of Marshall Faulk, what are his chances of Hall of Fame enshrinement?'

Very good. He'll have my vote the moment he becomes eligible. He's one of the best three or four all-around backs in NFL history."
