I would have to say that the "joke of the NFL" has to be the Houston Texans, who managed to give weak-armed QB Mark Brunell a record 22-consecutive completions yesterday.

I could see the Lions folding here pretty soon if they do not get a win. Too much explosive attitudes on that team to allow them to stay together after a string of losses.

The difference between the Texans and the Lions IMO is the Lions were a team a lot of "experts" would consider VERY improved and moving in the right direction.

I'd say the Lions have been a laughing stock since Millen took over. Seriously, his only success through the draft has been Shaun Rogers. Funny thing is, I classified the Packers v Lions as the "2007 #1 Pick Bowl". I firmly believe both of these teams will be drafting inside the top 10 next year.

If not top 5.

Yeah Lions fans were pretty dang excited bout this season.
Poor guys, maybe next year.

i actually thought that the texans would be a lot better than they are at this point.
as to who i think is the laughing stock of the league at the moment...i'm gonna' go ahead and say the raiders.
they have far too much talent to be doing as bad as they have been.
not to mention, losing brooks for a little while and having walters come in doesn't help at all.
too many attitudes clashing within the organization as well.
gonna' be a very long year for them.

The Raiders are well on their way to redefining Sucky. The Lions are just run of the mill stinkers. You have to be concerned about the Lions, cause they can always ring up 40. A team like that is dangerous.

the lions are a team with potential.. but so far have been less then impressive, remember, they were listed as the near shoe in as #2 in the division

they're better than given credit for.. but i think they're still a year or two shy from being "good"
