    1999- Garrison Heart - Broken ankle

    2000- Barry Sanders and Dorsey Levens - Sanders retired before training camp. Levens injured his knee

    2001- Eddie George - Lost divisional finals against the Baltimore Ravens. He bobbled an easy pass that was intercepted and returned for the game winning touchdown.

    2002- Dante Culpepper - Received a season ending injury after going 4-7

    2003-Marshall Faulk - Ankle injury

    2004- Michael Vick - Broke his leg

    2005- Ray Lewis - Torn hamstring

    2006- Donovan McNabb - Sports hernia and groin injury

    2007- Shaun Alexander - Broken foot

    2008- Vince Young - injured both quadriceps

    2009- Brett Favre - Tore bicep

    2010- Larry Fitzgerald and Troy Polamalu - Polamalu tore his posterior cruciate ligament. Fitzgerald had a rib injury

    2011- Drew Brees - Lost to the 7-9 SEATTLE SEAHAWKS in the Wild card game

    lol makes for a good story but Brees himself threw for 400+ yards and had an overall decent game and season.
