    Hmmm. Interesting idea, especially with the mini-season ticket thing.
    I would be in favor of pushing the SB back one week instead of moving the opener to Labor Day.

    The biggest logistic problem would be in scheduling.
    Mexico and Canada would be OK for scheduling, but any games in Europe and Asia would have to be scheduled around a BYE or weeknight game to make up for jet lag.

    I think the teams that travel overseas should get two bye weeks.

    Then we'd have to expand to 18 weeks.
    The idea of adding an extra week means that every team would play 8 home games, 8 away games, and 1 international game.

    I do actually like this idea, but think the logistics of it will be hard to overcome.
