    Get over it.
    It is the truth.
I gotta agree, Aaron Rodgers is awesome. He is also more mobile than most people think.
If I could choose any quarterback to have on my team. Aaron Rodgers would probably be in my top 7. He is a hard-nosed player and I like watching him play. I'm not looking forward to see him play against us next week though.

I am glad that this was a topic already.

I was going to start one on here about this group.

    #9. Eagles:
3 Pro Bowl QBs on one roster?
If Kolb had a chance to put up the numbers he did the last two weeks for the rest of the season, he would have Pro Bowl potential also.
My question is this, who are they going to deal and when?

    Donovan McNabb
    Kevin Kolb
    Jeff Garcia
    Michael Vick.

After listening to Vick talk, there were 30 teams out there that missed on an opp to get a high quality QB.
He has changed and he may actually do the things this time around to make him a good QB instead of thinking that he will succeed on talent alone.
He seems like he is willing to put in the work.

Eagles eventually hand the team over to Kolb.
How many miles do they get off of McNabb before he is Favred out of Philly.

Garcia is this close to being done.

We have 3 QB's w/somewhere in the vicinity of 300 career starts and 30 years experience. How can
anyone be ahead of us? ;D
Why must you defend everything this FO does....to the point of making your self look like a yes man.

Too bad BF has more than 90 % of those starts and 70 % of the years.
    LOL!

    Back to my post above.
The Eagles may have polished a turd.
Vick actually did all the work before signing again in the NFL.
The Eagles so this as low risk.
    And it was low risk.
They will get a high draft pick probably round 2 for Vick towards the end of this season.
That is a win win for them.
    Someone will want Vick.
I personally would take a chance on Vick or McNabb if they came available.
This is assuming that this is BFs last season.
StL, TB, Wash, Clev, and a few other teams all have to be thinking about QB solutions.

If McNabb becomes available to the Vikes...

    That is bad.

    That is real bad.

    Pack93z remains unimpressed with Donovan.
Pack93z is quite a student of the game.

Pack93z is without a clue on this issue. I can only hope that so are the Vikings if McNabb is out there.

    ;D

Re: A look at NFL teams with the best QB situations

There is a reason the Eagles are carrying 4 QB's on the roster... because they have little faith that McNabb can do two things.

    1) Stay Healthy.. self explanatory.

    2) Because he is soft composure about himself, he has this tendency to fold when the chips are down and has the confidence of rooster trying to lay an egg. The with 4 options, if they get to the post season, they can bail on Donovan if he curls up in the fetal position yet again.

So yes.. I remain unimpressed.. apparently so are the eagles with the addition of Garcia on top of choices in Kolb and Vick.

Re: A look at NFL teams with the best QB situations

On the topic itself.. best QB positions.. I guess I would think in terms of depth beyond the starter..

IE.. Saints, Colts and Pats are screwed if their starter goes down.. where as some other like Philly, Cowboys and Vikes have some decent talent to fall back upon. Yes, we Packers are hurting in terms of depth.

As far as being set for the next five years at QB.. well is anyone really confident Brady will play another 5? The Pats have shown they have little loyalty for aging players with large contracts (See Seymour)... it makes one wonder.

Is that why they signed Sands off the Raider scrap heap with a questionable Wilfork?

Is that why they are getting gashed on the ground.. albeit losing Mayo is probably not helping either..

Point being, it is a trend in New England.. Samuels is another example.
