Re: Lions to take CJ?
If the Raiders didn't need a QB so badly, Johnson would have been hands down the #1 pick this year.. Regardless of what Detroit needed more, they just couldn't pass up CJ.. Can you blame them? They just got a very solid WR that will be a household name for many years to come..

Re: Lions to take CJ?
They didn't draft any O-line help, so they'll still suck.
I hope.

Re: Lions to take CJ?
It's the Lions, they can take any sure fire 'HOF' player and turn them into 'could have' beens instantly.
CJ on his own won't turn them around.Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

they will be solid, they had a good draft.
but it's still kitna, and stanton does strike me as the future for them.
thank god moss went to new england and not green bay.
we won't have to deal with him until we reach the super bowl.
but new england is gonna be sickLET THAT WHICH DOES NOT MATTER, TRULY SLIDE

Re: Lions to take CJ?
Yeah I think Kitna will repeat what he did in Cincy where he will get Stanton ready and Im not saying Stanton is Palmer but I think he will be okay.
And with getting CJ and trading MW he really is going to tear it up with Roy W.
Now they got Bell in the backfield too I dont think the Vikes need to be scared of them but they are getting a solid team

Re: Lions to take CJ?
If they Lions could get their offensive line to come together (and portions of their pass defense) they could be great.
Believe it or not, they were actually close last year to being good. They lost 8 games by a TD or less....so if they can get a little more offensive production, they might be decent.
