this article is a crock..shaun mcdonald is nothing more than a 4th-5th receiver or a kick/punt return specialist

you may be right, but I believe that if Williamson is given a chance he can become a good receiver, but time and patience are a requirement, maybe more than three years. Williams has his issues but he too just needs a good coach or agent who will make him work hard to be his best.
I sure hope Williamson gets his act together.
It would make us all very happy.
I just don't have much faith in a professional WR that cannot catch the ball.
He should be working on refining his routes and technique, not learning how to catch a perfectly placed ball.
    It's pathetic really.

he was drafted #7 overall..he should already have been 'good' the day he got drafted..right now we should be talking about how 'great' he is..right now, hes been given 2 chances, and has shown that hes 'terrible'..if he comes in this year looking 'good' then i might start to show some optimism

We knew he was a project when we drafted him, which was one reason I was strongly against drafting him, but in truth his only problem is his hands, which seems curable according to many coaches. I'm expecting him to gradually progress and eventually be a good receiver if we let him

He needs to hire Marques Colston's college position coach to teach him the drills that Colston did to learn how to catch with his hands instead of his body!

Didn't you just say that the time is now, not later, somewhere?
The #7 overall that is still catching at the level of a pee-wee football player and we should develop him?
The coaching staff obviously believes what you are saying, I just hope you and they are correct.
The only reason they're holding onto him is because he was a high pick and he has no street value.
They're praying that he does exactly what you're talking about.

We would just need Charles Rogers for the complete set.
