Lions | Mcdonald's visit could hold key
Unaltered KFFL headline.
I guess the nekkid visit to Wendy's drive-up last year wasn't the key, so they're turning to McDonalds.

Lions | Mcdonald's visit could hold key

Tom Kowalski, of mlive.com, believes that unrestricted free-agent WR Shaun McDonald's (Rams) visit to the Detroit Lions means one of two things. Either the Lions are trying to put some pressure on unrestricted free-agent WR Kevin Curtis (Rams) to sign a contract, or the Lions want both Curtis and McDonald, and that means that the Lions would likely cut ties with WR Mike Williams.

I'd like to have Mike Williams on the team, he could at least add something to our offense

Between Mike Williams and Troy Williamson, one of them eventually should emerge as a quality receiver if not both, it is a game of patience and coaching

Re: Lions | Mcdonald's visit could hold key
you may be right, but I believe that if Williamson is given a chance he can become a good receiver, but time and patience are a requirement, maybe more than three years. Williams has his issues but he too just needs a good coach or agent who will make him work hard to be his best.
