Lions defense
OK it doesn't look good that they gave up 31 points to the Cowboys, but the Lions D is looking much different than they have in years. They are faster and more aggressive. Their linebacker corps had a very good game despite the loss and I think between Lewis, Lehman, and Holmes they are becoming one of the better units in the league. Wilkinson is a beast in the middle and very disruptive. And Dre Bly, what can you say the guy is one of the best in the league. Can you imagine if we had signed Bly two years ago when he was a free agent, and then gotten Winfield this year? It would have been possible, we had the cap money.
Anyway, the more I watch this team the more worried I get about playing them."Meet at the quarterback!" -Purple People Eaters

That doesn't even count Boss Bailey, who is out right now...they will only get better next year!

i hope so...the way our schedule looks were going to have to.

Looks like the 'Skins brought the Kitties down to earth this week...they still looked tough, but the Washington D played tough and brought home the win...thank God, because the Washington passing game sucks.

I think they get a lot of sacks and they get a lot of turn overs. They also can give up some points.
They could be scarey next year and later when they get healthier.
Defensively they might be in a better place than we are though?????

Revisited this thread, thought it was appropriate for this week.
I think we need to worry about their D and Special Teams more than their offense.
With our kicker, we might be battling from deep in our territory all day. Starting drives will be from our territory. Special Teams on both sides will determine how bad or good both of our Ds will look, short field and long field that is.

Yep especially worried about special team problems since jose cortez cant kickoff for S***. THats why the pack had such good returns all the time, ball wasnt in the air long enough for the coverage to make the stop.
Drummond is mean killah and is this years dante hall. :shock:Hupo oe ke kau ana i ka waiupa a ma kou pa o & Hupo na Po o waiupa a

I suspect them to do squibbs or something lame like that if they return one long on the first KO.
