    Leonard Weaver?

Anyone else interested in Leonard Weaver as I am? I believe we could use an upgrade at FB. I don't think Tahi is the answer. I saw Weaver play a couple games and he is a solid run/pass blocker, catches the ball out of the backfield, and is a pretty decent runner. Basically everything that Tahi is not ;D.

    Nope

Actually If we look at FB it will be a while since it is not a immediate priority to get one even though I do agree that we should look at options

Still a bit mystified why the dislike for Tahi....

It isn't like the FB has a huge role in this scheme and he sure had a hand in some nice runs this year as he got more reps.....

Maybe you guys are confusing him with Tapeh..... :

I wouldn't say FB is much of a high priority right now, but what do I know?

Not that I hate Tahi but Weaver wouldn't be a bad pick up.
The guy has good hands and he can actually break a long one which Tahi cannot do.

I think he catches ok for a FB considering how many times we actually throw the ball that way.

I will give you the point about not being able to break a long one, however, I don't expect that out of a FB.

Childress & Co. screwed the pooch when they let Richardson go.

Again, I am not so sure.
Watched alot of Jets games this year and he didn't get many reps.
Not as big a impact as some say he had.

By the way, the ones that say he had a big impact, I don't put much credit to as I bet they didn't watch a single game.

TR was hurt a lot of the season but was effective when in the games.
I liked TR and thought he was one of the most important FA pick ups that year.
I know it was the year we got Hutch but I think people under estimated his value.
    Jets re-signed him.
