True, but we have the money for a #1.

Stallworth would be ideal, but I would love Horn. He has amazing hands.

How many WR's are left in the FA pool?

Childress must plan on going into the season with the wide receivers we got and possibly unproven rookies behind an unproven QB..
Doesn't want to mess with the KAO.
It just needs a little time to click...

Actually I'm starting to think that its not childress or the front office that are refusing to sign proven guys, but rather the guys who have proven themselves are afraid if they end up in Minny that there careers will take a turn for the worse. Leaving him left to pick backup guys who want a chance to be the main guy.

If we had a QB that had some proven ability, getting a decent FA WR would be a lot easier for them, otherwise they will have to overpay which I don't see happening.

    Here's to a good draft.

I guess we can hold out hope that we go receiver heavy in the draft?

    I agree.
I can't see many proven wide-outs coming unless we overpay and even though we are desperate I don't want to see all our cap space blown on average guys..
It is not like Jackson and Bollinger scream confidence.

Keep in mind that Rob B has a lot to do with this.
It could be that there is a trade in the works for someone not on the FA market.

Another one bites the dust.. Looks like the boys in purple will have another rough year ahead of them.. I can't believe that 2 days into the FA period, we have signed 2 basically no names.. Next season will be another grueling onslaught..

I apologize for saying that. It was stupid. But I guess my reasoning was that there hasnt been a good white reciever since Steve Largent in the 80's. Kevin Curtis is no exception.
