Thread: leinart looked good against bears

saw matt leinart at the bears game last night. he looked very good with a good amount of time against the bears 1st team defense. his passes were crisp. he did not look confused at all for a player with only about a week of practice. he was reading through his progressions and checking down well. saw one play where he checked three receivers before taking off, (i wish duante could have done that once in his career ). he also looked pretty good running on a couple of plays. good news from the game, i know it's only preseason, but the bears vaunted defense did not look all that impressive against the run or pass. they also had a couple of stupid penalties after the play. bodes well for us.

he had a pretty good game, but he is still not ready to be te #1 guy.
but i do think he may be the starter in arizona before the season is over

i agree, i do not think he
will be ready to be #1 for a while. but he did look in control.
i forgot to mention, grossman looked horrid again. hopefull lovie sticks with him. anything that hurts them, helps us. griese has looked good, but he has only been playing 2nd string defenses.
