It went from 19 to 21. I turned 19 in Dec of 1985 and I think it went to 21 in Jan of 1986. If you turned before that time you were grandfathered in."PacNWVike" wrote:
They raised it from 18 to 19 first prior to August 1977 & then to 21 later. I was legal to drink in WI & we would go across the river to drink where 18 was the legal age, but the legal age in MN was 19.When I graduated from high school in May 1973 Minnesota dropped the drinking age to 18.
Some years later (?) the legislature raised the drinking age back up to 21 because the alcohol related automotive deaths skyrocketed.
I don't recall if Minnesota changed it from 19 back down to 18 & then up to 21 first or if it went from 19 to 21 directly.
IMO they should drop it back down. The law doesn't stop people who want to drink from drinking,it just pushes them underground.

Re: Leinart facing scrutiny over Internet pics
I am a little disappointed. You would think a young rich guy like that would have more than a 2:1 ratio of chicks to dudes. That doesn't give him much to choose from.

I bet you'd wish you had those two to choose from.

How do you know there is nothing wrong with the two he had to choose from, you don't even know which one's were his. And secondly, what gives you the idea that I would take either of those over my wife?"UffDaVikes" wrote:

I don't. Thus the word "choose". You would simply state "Neither, I'll choose my wife.""singersp" wrote:

You'd choose neither, Ergo, I'd lose the bet.
