League losing two pivotal voices at critical time
DANA POINT, Calif. – As the clock ticks toward possible labor war for the NFL, two of the league’s greatest proponents of peace may no longer be part of the process.
The classic example is [Cincinnati Bengals owner] Mike Brown vs. Jerry Jones. It’s not that they don’t get along, but they don’t see eye-to-eye on how best to run a team,†a second anonymous owner said. “Mike has certain things he just won’t do. He won’t sell the naming rights to his stadium. It’s named after his father and it’s going to stay that way.
“I think Jerry would wear a sandwich board if there was enough money in it for him. Besides that, Jerry is going to be heard. He’s bombastic.

I would not want to call out Jones. He will buy your soul and then sell it for double.
Re: League losing two pivotal voices at critical time
With some major shake ups in the owners and a new union head the negotiations could get ugly.
Goodell always seems to be out to prove some kind of point and the new guy in the union doesn't want to come off as weak.
We might see an uncapped year.
