Ok... Go check out the Chargers records now until a couple years ago..

I was checking out the stats of the 2 players also.. L.T is 10 TD's behind Walter right now rushing.. He will get that next year.. And shatter that within the next 5-8 years he will play after that

Not to mention he is a better reciever then Payton was

That is the best RB in NFL history.
For real.

LT may end up the best of all time, especially if he wins a Super Bowl. If he puts up numbers for the next 4-6 years like he did in his first 6, he'll have surpassed Walter Payton and Emmitt easily statistically, not to mention the fact that he would blow both of them away in the receiving department. I could definately see him becoming the greatest ever.

Aside from that, I think this guy:

is the best ever.
I'm with you on this one, Ltrey...Barry had moves like no other RB!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

Just to add to this fire, a lot of people didnt know or forgot that last season L.T. had hurt his groin early in the season and it really affected him all season long. He was never 100% healthy, so his production fell from the previous year.

If L.T. keeps it up, he will be the best ever.

This was not a shock. He deserved it. What was shocking is that he didn't score in the final two games of the season. Dang.

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

Re: L.T. MVP

i dont think this comes as a shock to anyone. L.T. is a very good running back and hes not full of himself like alot of other players. he deserved this IMO.

Re: L.T. MVP

L.T. is the definition of a class guy and certainly deserved this award. As far as the best ever I think it depends on how you look at it.

Best all around (rushing, recieving and blocking) my vote would be for Payton. The incredible toughness he showed and his never give up attitude is what you dream of in a running back.

Best pure rusher would be hands down Barry Sanders. The rushing title wouldn't even be remotely close if he wouldn't have retired early. My god just imagine if the man would ever have had a o-line like Emmitt had. One of the most disgusting things I have ever seen was his dad introducing him at the HoF. Rating running backs on the day heralding the greatness of the man's own son. Even if you believe that Jim Brown was better do you point that out as well as mention that you believe youself to be better as well. I felt so bad for Barry on that day that even making the HoF was not enough for his old man.

L.T. is hands down the greatest running back of this generation and if he continues at the pace he is going I could see him becomng the best ever. My only worry is that he will wear down. The Chargers are building a hell of a offense but over the years L.T. has certainly carried more than his share of the load.
