TEMPE, Ariz. - Kurt Warner's future is chief among the serious contract issues facing the Arizona Cardinals in the aftermath of their improbable run to the Super Bowl....

Re: Kurt Warner mulls retirement, re-signing with Cardinals
I think Kurt has a couple more years in the tank, and if the Cardinals don't re-sign him that could come back and bite them in the end. If the Cards don't resign him, he would fit in quite nicely with our offense, and I'd much rather see him in purple than Farve. Warner gets the ball out with great accuracy and anticipation, while Farve holds that ball too long and forces it far to many times resulting in turn-overs.

Cards will not make the playoffs next year regardless.
We're bringing purple back.

Obviously if he is playing there is very little chance the Cardinals do not bring him back. I can't imagine him getting away. Of course I would love to have him though.

I don't get the impression he will play for any other team, which saddens me.

Why? You think he'd go to another team where Anquon Boldin and Larry Fitzgerald aren't playing?I don't get the impression he will play for any other team, which saddens me.
Do you think he'd come to Minnesota and replicate his success?
Wake up, it's not happening... any way you slice it.Disclaimer: I'm an idiot.
