Tom Kowalski, of MLive.com, reports Detroit Lions QB Jon Kitna believes he is going to have the best season of his 11-year career in 2006. Kitna also feels the team's offense is going to flourish over the final two months of the year because of offensive coordinator Mike Martz. Kitna said, "It's coach Martz, to be honest. If I had had coach Martz earlier in my career, or even five months ago, I don't know if I would've been ready for that kind of coaching yet. Having been through what I've been through in the league and now having an opportunity to play for a guy like him and the way he coaches the position, it's everything I've been looking for. I didn't realize how drastically different he coaches the position. That's what I love. I love the system and things will continue to get better as the season goes on."
