lets think about this, in order to get Kiffin we would have to fire Childress. Kiffin just got fired....so I imagine his eagerness to sign with a club that also believes it is ok to fire a coach mid season would be pretty low.

Chilly is running out of scapegoats.
Fire Bevell and hire Kiffin.
It gets Chilly at least a couple more games before he is the obvious (sole) reason why we are underachieving.

Fox Sports.com listed Childress as "on the hot seat" today along with others.

which makes less sense than firing Childress and sign him...

Hopefully he gets another opportunity in a better situation,
a high school somewhere should give him a chance at least.
