The Vikings may not have to worry about shutting down RB Kevin Jones. It looks like he may have done it himself.

As if the Lions don't already have enough problems, the team was forced to downgrade RB Kevin Jones to questionable for Sunday's game, a move new coach Dick Jauron said would be "a game-time decision at best."

The plan for this week was to take some of the heat off QB Jeff Garcia by giving Jones the ball 20-25 times. With him potentially out, that duty would fall to Shawn Bryson and Artose Pinner -- both of whom are averaging just four carries a game.

Jauron still holds out some hope that Jones will play, but the word out of Lions Country says that may be a little too optimistic.

Well that helps.. Not that I don't think we will lose anyway.. Who do we have to stop then if he isn't gonna play?

Ok it said im the article my bad.. Bryson and Pinner.. IMO Pinner is a better back and we should be more worried about him.. This should help our run defence even more though!

that helps but not much since shawn bryson seems to get 10 yards a carry against the vikes.

if he is a game time decision, he will probley end up playing because they need him pretty bad.
