He's been itchin to get out of there for a while now hasn't he?
He's a pretty good player...obvisouly not going to end up here, but he'll make a nice addition to another team.

I would actually like to see Vilma on this team and think he would add something to our LB corp but not or a 3rd.

If he were to be outright released I could see an offer going out to him. He could fit nicely in DT roster spot, Rufus will fit good in Heaths spot.
That would be a hell of a LB corp and would be more suited to play the cover 2 that what we currently have.

Love Leber, but he does have his limitations.
He would be in during run situations and Vilma could come in on passing downs as well as during normal rotations.

    50 Vinny Ciurciu LB 27 6-0 235 5 Boston College
    59 Heath Farwell LB 26 6-0 235 3 San Diego State
    52 Chad Greenway LB 25 6-2 242 2 Iowa
    56 E.J. Henderson LB 27 6-1 245 5 Maryland
    58 David Herron Jr. LB 23 6-1 239 R Michigan State
    51 Ben Leber LB 29 6-3 244 6 Kansas State
    54 Dontarrious Thomas LB 27 6-2 241 4 Auburn

Vilma is good but I don't really want him here. I would rather see Erin Henderson

    Are you serious?
ONe is a former pro-bowler and NFL defensive rookie of the year.
Not to mention he's still young and if healthy is one of the better MLBs in the game.

That being said, we have Henderson, and I am perfectly satisfied with that.
But if I was a team in need of a MLB I would snap him up in a second (pending a physical).

I love Vilma, he has been stuck in a system that dosnt fit him, he needs to be a 4-3 inside linebacker and he has been forced to play a 3-4 system in NY..

There is no room for him on this team but i hope he finds a spot where he can succeed.
