Re: Jon Gruden replaces Tony Kornheiser on MNF

Im thinkin JA would be a hell of an announcer after his career is done as a viking.
I hope we will be waiting a while before we see that though.
    Just a thought.

    Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

I couldn't have said it better.

Unfortunately, Cris Collinsworth will be on SNF, who is just as annoying as Tony.
I think Strahn or Sapp would have made it MUCH more interesting.
If the game becomes a bore, they could easily entertain.
Sapp could even show us some of that "Dancing with the Stars" magic during the TOs. Can't you just see Al Michaels and Sapp?

At least he doesn't have a permanent sh*t eating grin like Collinsworth.
But I agree Sapp is OK for short bits, but a whole game of his grin and chuckle could be irksome.

Sapp is pretty good on NFLn, but I agree. Too much of him is a bad thing. I like how he is not on everyday, so they are in a perfect balance of whenever he is on, I want to watch and I am not sick of him.

What I like about Sapp is he's not shy.
One of my favorite Sapp blurbs is when he called Oakland and NJ the armpits of America.
