THANK GOD!!!.. PTI is great, he may even be a decent writer.. but listening to him on Monday Night Football was awful... he is soo annoying and offered nothing to the broadcast.. they couldn't have replaced him sooner!!!
I think he sort of conveyed the folksy aspect... meaning, he'd always play the dumb guy and Jaws would explain the intricacies.

Anyways, not a huge Kornheiser fan... but I wish they could just find someone and keep them on longer than a season.
I believe Kornheiser had been on for 3 or 4 years already.

What I don't get is why they believe that a 3-man booth MUST BE DONE on MNF.
Tirico and Jaws would have been just fine by me.

easy one is good with letters, one is good with numbers and one to talk up the crew bringing the production to TV

Time spent annoying a Packer fan is never time wasted...

I agree a two-man crew could be sufficient.. I like the addition of Gruden...

like somone else said... anybody not named Kornheiser is fine by me..... he's the NFL's version of Bill Walton or jeff van Gundy...

I think Van Gundy is the dumbest person on sports... I like how Mark Jackson calls him out all the time... like last week when he gave the Houston GM props for building that team...

Jackson said "I wouldn't give anybody props who's fired me"...

    LOL Priceless!!

    I hate Joe Buck, he's a chump.
And I love the edition of Gruden.
Finally somebody that knows what the hell he's talking about.

Just to help you from further errors, it's addition, as in adding him to the program.

    P.S.

Joe Buck is a chump indeed.

Re: Jon Gruden replaces Tony Kornheiser on MNF

I'm glad Tony is gone, I like him on PTI but I can't stand him on MNF, he was the reason I'd loath watching the best game of the week.
We'll see how Gruden does... he was on Sports Center today and sure as hell wasn't very charismatic.
I could see him being like Billick as a commentator, knowledgeable, but dull.

Btw, anyone else find it funny that Kornheiser is stepping aside because of his fear of flying?
Madden had the same fear and consequently rode his bus everywhere.

Madden only had 1 job - broadcasting the single game a week.
Kornheiser has multiple jobs and this year's schedule would force him to fly more than he had the past 3 seasons.

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!
